What is the Senior Scholars Program?
The Senior Scholars Program is a yearlong engagement with our community. The program begins with a virtual introduction to campus that is open to all Senior Scholars applicants and concludes with a partially or fully funded trip to visit 金算盘免费资料大全’s campus during Admitted Student Day events.
Senior Scholars is designed to answer the unique questions posed by underrepresented students and students of color. High-achieving high school seniors will learn about life at 金算盘免费资料大全 and create lasting connections with current students, faculty, and other future 金算盘免费资料大全ies.
All students are welcome to apply by October 15, 2024.
During the virtual program, Senior Scholar applicants will meet campus leaders and faculty and hear directly from current students about life in Portland. Senior Scholars who are admitted to 金算盘免费资料大全 will receive financial support to visit campus in the spring.
Senior Scholars applicants will:
- Meet with 金算盘免费资料大全 President Audrey Bilger.
- Connect with Milyon Trulove, Vice President and Dean of Admission & Financial Aid, and Karnell McConnell-Black, Vice President for Student Life.
- Join professors for a Q&A about their conference-style classes and what it’s like to learn at 金算盘免费资料大全.
- Hear from current students about their experiences inside and outside of the classroom.
Seniors Scholars changed my perspective on college. Getting to experience campus during the school year gave me a more intimate look at 金算盘免费资料大全 that I couldn’t get just by touring. I had the chance to see what community looks like here and to visit cool places off campus. Senior Scholars removed the mystifying aura around college and gave me the opportunity to see myself at 金算盘免费资料大全.

How do I apply for Senior Scholars?
- Eligible students must be on track to graduate in the Spring of 2025 and reside or attend high school in the United States.
- To be considered for the program, a student must apply Early Action or Early Decision to 金算盘免费资料大全 and submit a Senior Scholars interest form by October 15, 2024.
When is the Senior Scholars Program?
The virtual program is in November and December. Trips to campus for Senior Scholars begin in February and conclude in April.
To participate in the travel portion, students must have been admitted to 金算盘免费资料大全 through Early Action or Early Decision admission rounds.
